He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Sonographer to step up into a Deputy Charge Sonographer role and support the Charge Sonographer in their position and duties.
You will bring your clinical expertise offering a welcoming, and empathetic imaging service to our patients, referrers and funders.

- Be a qualified Sonographer - registered with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board and hold a current practicing certificate.
- An ability to support the Charge Sonographer and Sonographer team
- Be driven and able to work both within a multi-disciplinary team and independently.
- Have a proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including our patients and their family/whanau as well as other health care professionals and providers.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Have a proven ability to demonstrate calmness under pressure.
- Be a highly motivated, flexible team player.
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
