About the role
  
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Sonographer who would relish the opportunity to join our Bay Radiology team to manage and lead our Sonographers. You will bring clinical expertise and leadership to the service, offering a welcoming, and empathetic imaging service to Bay’s patients, referrers and funders.  This opportunity can be full or part time.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally possess the following skills and experience:
  • Be a qualified Sonographer - registered with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board and hold a current practicing certificate.
  • An ability to lead, coach and provide feedback to the Sonographer team
  • Be driven and able to work both within a multi-disciplinary team and independently.
  • Have a proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including our patients and their family/whanau as well as other health care professionals and providers.
  • Have the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Have a proven ability to demonstrate calmness under pressure.
  • Be a highly motivated, flexible team player.
  • Understanding of the importance of maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
